Chelsea are closing in on a deal to sign 21-year-old Augsburg defender Baba Rahman.
Following the return of Filipe Luis to Atletico Madrid after just one season at Stamford Bridge,Chelsea Coach Jose Mourinho is in the market for a replacement at left back.
Augsburg are holding out for at least £15million from the Blues for the full back.
There have been reports that Chelsea submitted a $25m (£17.5m) bid for Rahman, but Sportsblog360 understands negotiations are still ongoing.
Baba Rahman was signed by Augsburg for just £1m from Greuther Furth last year.
