Super Eagles Striker, Kelechi Iheanacho Faces Two Years In Prison Over Row With Former Agent

Image result for PHotos of Kelechi Iheanacho
Super Eagles of Nigeria and Manchester City striker, Kelechi Iheanacho, who is on the verge of making a switch to Leicester City, is facing legal problems in the US after allegations were made against him that he may have misled a court in Pennsylvania.

The 20-year-old is being dragged into a legal battle by his previous representatives, American-based First Eleven Management, after pulling out of a contract with them two years ago to sign with Stellar.

The football star is said to have filed pleadings denying that he knew or spent time with Henry Galeano, who on his on claims said he is his former agent.

The Nigerian also claimed he believed Galeano was an alias used by First Eleven Management co-owner Robert Zanicky. But the football agent was the company’s registered Fifa-licensed agent.

According to the Sun UK,  SunSport and the American court have been handed a series of photos and documents that will require an explanation from the Nigerian international.

The crucial legal question for Iheanacho, according to the report,  will be if the young star did more than merely meet Galeano or happened to be with him on occasions. It certainly seems clear they at least met.

Meanwhile, below are photographs of Iheanacho with Galeano obtained by SunSport

1. In Minneapolis during Manchester City’s 2014 pre-season tour.

2. In Columbus, while training with MLS club Columbus Crew that same year.
3. In New Zealand in 2015 while representing Nigeria at the Under-20 World Cup.
4. At the Etihad Stadium while signing a new contract with Manchester City after he turned 18.
In his court affidavit, Galeano said: “For the avoidance of doubt, Iheanacho and I have spent hundreds of hours together.”

He also added: “Robert Zanicky never used my name as an alias.”

Galeano claims he became Iheanacho’s official Fifa-licensed agent in July 2013 after both men signed a Representative Agreement.

The legal battle is also reported to be a bit complicated because Galeano in the signed and sworn affidavit submitted to the court, claims he spent “hundreds of hours” with the player.

Under Pennsylvania Law, if it is found Iheanacho knowingly tried to mislead the court, he could be charged with unsworn falsification which, if found guilty, carries a penalty of up to two years in prison.

Suspected Kidnappers Who Posed As Journalists Nabbed [Photos]

Two men suspected to be kidnappers allegedly posed as LTV crew and visited Comrade Olusesan Daini, the new Chairman of Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA, on the pretence of wanting to interview him.

According to Igbogbo/Bayeku Info Magazine, the alleged fake Journalists identified as Olaolu Owoeye from Mowe Ibafo and Gbenga from Somolu, were seen within the Council premises in Monday, July 31, granting interview to two of the newly elected councillors, Mathew Arowolo and Monsuru Kolejo.

Shortly after their fictitious interview, they proceeded to the Daini's office who suspected them to be fake while they were trying to cajole him. He quickly alerted security operatives who swung into action immediately and began to quiz them.

When they were ransacked, items such as 8 Sim Cards, toothpaste and toothbrushes, a list containing the phone numbers and names of top politicians and some other items were found in their bag.

Speaking with Igbogbo/Bayeku Info Magazine, the Chairman admits that they almost cajoled him to follow them to Ibeshe where a family of five was brutally murdered  by Badoo. A move he suspected to be an attempt to kidnap him.

"No sooner than later, the angry mob that gathered was about to effect jungle justice on them before the Chairman's intervention who prevented them from taking laws into their hands but asked the Security operatives to take them away for further interrogation."

The suspects have been taken to a police station for further questioning.

Cristiano Ronaldo In Court: Protests His innocence, Denies Tax Fraud

Cristiano Ronaldo
Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo protested his innocence after testifying in court on Monday against charges of evading €14.7m in taxes, Reuters reports.

The 32-year-old Portuguese, who was in the Pozuelo de Alarcon court for about 90 minutes, declined to speak to reporters afterwards, but he released a statement through his agency Gestifute.

“The Spanish tax authorities know my income in detail, because we have given it to them. I have never hidden anything in my declarations, nor have I had the smallest intention of evading taxes,” Ronaldo said.
“I always make my declarations voluntarily, because I think we all have to declare and pay tax in accordance to our incomes. Those who know me know what I ask my advisors: that they take their time on it and pay correctly, because I don’t want problems.”

Ronaldo explained that he did not create a special structure to manage his image rights after joining Real from Manchester United in 2010, saying he utilised the set-up which was deemed “legal and legitimate” by English tax authorities.

Spanish courts have recently cracked down on tax evasion among leading footballers.

Manchester United Completes The Signing Of Nemanja Matic From Chelsea

Manchester United have completed the signing of Nemanja Matic from Chelsea on a three-year contract.

United will pay Chelsea a £40 million transfer fee, sources said, to reunite Matic with Jose Mourinho, who brought the midfielder to Stamford Bridge in January 2014.

The 28-year-old becomes Mourinho's third signing of the summer after the arrivals of Victor Lindelof and Romelu Lukaku and takes United's summer spending toward £150m.

Mourinho told the club's official website: "Nemanja is a Manchester United player and a Jose Mourinho player. He represents everything we want in a footballer; loyalty, consistency, ambition, team player.

"I would like to thank him for his desire to join us because without that, it would be impossible to have him here. I am sure our players and supporters will love him. A big welcome to our new No. 31."
is delighted to announce the signing of Nemanja Matic from Chelsea on a three-year contract. http://www.manutd.com/en/News-And-Features/Football-News/2017/Jul/manchester-united-announces-the-signing-of-nemanja-matic-from-chelsea.aspx …

Matic said he intends to repay Mourinho's faith in him, believing the manager will continue to make him better. "Manchester is one of the biggest clubs in the world (but) also my wish was to train with Jose," the defensive midfielder told MUTV. "Of course when you have a coach like him and a club like Manchester is you don't need to think a lot so my decision was very easy. "I am very happy because we will work again together.

He is a great coach and, when I worked with him before, he always took the best from me and I improve if I work with him. "When the coach wants you to come to the club, it gives you more motivation, more possibility and I will try to... not try, I will, for sure, give my best to show that I deserve to be in this club and part of this group."

Matic initially joined Chelsea in 2009 but was sold to Benfica in 2011 after making just two Premier League appearances. Mourinho paid £21m to bring him back in 2014, with the midfielder becoming an integral part of Chelsea's title-winning team in 2014-15. He has already set his sights on replicating the success he had at Stamford Bridge, where he won the league twice -- once with Mourinho.

Matic added: "I think that this squad is ready because it is more mature. They already work with Jose for one year so they know what they have to do and I am sure that this season we can do many things. "As a member of the team, I think we can do many things. I'm sure that we will try to win the Premier League. Also, the Champions League, you never know what can happen.
"In the Champions League, everything is possible. [There are] many good teams, the best teams in Europe, so Manchester is one of the best for sure and it's very difficult to make a plan before the season starts but we will try to win every game, if it is possible."

The Serbia international, who won a second Premier League title under Antonio Conte last season, leaves Chelsea having played 151 games in his second spell with the club, scoring seven goals.

He moves on an initial fee of £35 million, with the potential for £5m more in add-ons, sources said. He is United's third major signing of the summer after former Benfica teammate Victor Lindelof and Romelu Lukaku.

"With Victor we have been together at Benfica. Lukaku, I didn't play with him because when I left Chelsea [the first time] he just signed there and I didn't have an opportunity to train and to play with him," he said. "But I know him because we have played many times against each other. Both of them are great players and I think they are going to help Manchester to reach the targets."

Matic is neither the first Serb nor the first Nemanja to play for United, following in the footsteps of former captain Nemanja Vidic. A fearsome competitor on the pitch, Matic does not want to disappoint his compatriot when he meets him off it.

"Vidic was a great player and one of the players where I look to be similar because he had a great career," he added. "It's great to be at the same club like him and I will try to do my best to repeat what he does because I don't want that, one day, he tells me, 'what are you doing there?' So I will try to do my best for him to be happy."

Three Policemen To Face Trial Over Looting Of Jonathan’s Abuja Home

Mobile policemen guarding the house of former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan in Abuja have allegedly burgled it, carting away expensive properties worth millions of naira. Reports on online portal, Premium Times, alleged that the theft was carried out by three mobile policemen in the residence located at No. 89, Fourth Avenue in the Gwarimpa district of Abuja.

This came as FCT Police Command disclosed, yesterday that a case of theft had been reported against the policemen, saying the suspects were being investigated. In fact, the Police authorities said they would soon commence orderly room trial of the policemen. The stolen items, according to Premium Times, include “sets of furniture, dozens of plasma television sets, refrigerators, air-condition units and box-loads of clothes, such as designer suits imprinted with the former president’s name, male and female Ijaw traditional attires, lace materials and bowler hats.

“It was gathered that the three mobile police officers allegedly conducted the systematic looting over a period of three months beginning from around March 2016, until they totally stripped the house of all movable items, which they sold piecemeal to dealers at Panteka second-hand materials market at Tipper Garage, Gwarimpa. According to a security source involved in the investigation, by the time family members of the former President were alerted to the looting early this month, the house had been stripped bare. On getting wind of the arrest of the policemen, two dealers who had been main recipients of the stolen items were said to have closed down their shops at Panteka market and have since remained at large.

Whistle-blowing neighbor

The source revealed that the looting was discovered when a neighbor noticed “severe damage  in the house” and called a member of President Jonathan’s family to ask whether the house was undergoing renovation. The former President was said to have personally gone to inspect the property after which he reported the vandalism to the Inspector-General of Police, Ibrahim Idris. “After a team of officers dispatched to the scene confirmed the crime, Mr. Idris was said to have ordered the arrest of the three police officers who were still on guard duty at the residence.

They were arrested about two weeks ago,” the source stated. A trader at Panteka market, who confessed to being close to one of the fleeing buyers of the stolen items, according to sources, said the police officers first brought some items to the market for sale in early 2016. Sgt Musa at Panteka Market “It all started sometimes around March 2016 when a mobile police sergeant came to Tipper Garage market and brought some items for sale. He approached one of the wholesalers to buy them, but the trader said he does not buy items from an unconfirmed owner.

“The officer who identified himself as Sergeant Musa told the trader that he was one of the security men guarding Mr. Jonathan’s private residence at Gwarimpa. He took the trader to follow him to confirm that he was not a thief who had come to sell off stolen properties in the market. ‘’

The trader followed him to the residence where he met two other policemen, an Inspector and a Sergeant. They convinced him that the items were part of gifts to them,’’ the source said. Sources said it was noticed subsequently that the stream of transaction had no end, as Sergeant Musa continued to invite the trader to the residence to pick up fresh items.

The source said: “At a point, the trader became scared when he suspected foul play and told Sergeant Musa that he was no longer interested in the transaction.  However, the officer later got another customer, a wholesaler in the market, who would eventually buy almost 80 per cent of all the properties removed from  President Jonathan’s residence. Jonathan had lived in the house for about a year when he was vice president. His mother was also said to have lived in the house after the former President moved to Aso Rock Villa upon becoming Acting President in 2010. Jonathan’s spokesman confirms burglary When contacted, former President Jonathan’s spokesman, Ikechukwu Eze, confirmed the development.

He said: “The house was burgled and I think the police is already handling the case.  I cannot confirm whether the case was reported to the Inspector-General of Police or not  but, I know they must have made arrests.” How looted property were sold Premium Times in its report said that its undercover reporter went to the Tipper Garage market and found out that both the purchase and resale of the items were not hidden, as many of the traders were aware of the racket. “Whenever particular or specific items of our interest were brought for sale from Mr. Jonathan’s residence, we used to buy from the wholesaler who bought them in large quantity,” a trader said.
Further probes by the online portal confirmed that the traders sold off the stolen items such as suits, women wears, traditional cloth popularly called ‘babban riga,’ Ankara fabrics at about N5,000.00 apiece and bowler hats. It could, however, not be confirmed how much the bowler hats were sold.  A petty trader at the market said he witnessed the sale of one of the sets of furniture. “The policeman sold one to the wholesaler who is now on the run at N50, 000.00. The wholesaler sold it at N180,000.00 to a lucky buyer in the market who in turn instantly sold it at N390,000.00. “I personally bought babban riga, and a suit with Jonathan’s name printed underneath it at the cost of N5,000.00 each.”

The petty trader, who claimed to be an apprentice at Tipper Garage, said they were scared when they heard that the three police officers had been arrested in connection with the theft of the properties from Mr. Jonathan’s residence. Three Policemen to face Orderly Room Trial Confirming, yesterday, that the policemen would face orderly room trial, spokesman of FCT Police Command, DSP Anjuguri Manzah, said in a statement:
“The FCT Police Command wishes to inform the general public that it has commenced full-fledged investigation into the case of theft in the Gwarimpa residence of former President, Dr Goodluck Ebele Jonathan. “Preliminary police investigation on the matter has revealed that some items were found to be missing in the house. “Meanwhile, the Policemen who are supposed to be on guard duty at the house have been detained for questioning. “Investigation to find out what actually happened is currently in progress.  The command wants to assure all that the result of findings on the on-going investigation will be made public.”

Now, the New York based publisher has taken to social media to share screenshots of his bank accounts in Nigeria and America saying, 'Please understand that my Nigerian accounts have been frozen via a kangaroo court order obtained from a Jankara judge in Ilorin, Kwara state'.

See his full post below...

Folks: Let me just act goofy today by declaring all my private bank accounts publicly just so that so some of you can get some answers you need.

It is important to let you know that the Bank Of America (BOFA) bank account summary being bandied around by Bukola Saraki and his minions yesterday was manufactured since last week. I do not have a personal or investment account at BOFA.

However, after hitting them hard yesterday revealing their fraudulent legal judgements in Ilorin, they had to resort to something.

These screenshots of my accounts both in the US and Nigeria were taken today.

Please understand that my Nigerian accounts have been frozen via a kangaroo court order obtained from a Jankara judge in Ilorin, Kwara state.

My confirmed cash balance across two (US and Nigeria) continents as of this morning stands at $6,213 minus $6, 100 and debit card balance of $100 frozen in my GTB account. My account balance in Naira is less than N2,000.

My available bank cash today in the US is approximately $13!
I also have close to £10 left from funds that I exchanged while in the UK his weekend.

Mind you I am not seeking anyone's sympathy, there is no need for it.

Photos: Raheem Sterling Builds A £25,000 Adventure Playground For His Baby Son

Manchester City winger and English footballer, Raheem Sterling who became a father for the second time in January, has built a £25,000 adventure playground for his baby son.

According to reports, builders spent weeks constructing a giant children's play area in the £3.1m Cheshire mansion he purchased in December. The playground includes slides, rope activity walls, a fireman's pole and 25ft zip wire slide.

The former Liverpool winger, who has a four-year-old daughter called Melody Rose from a previous relationship became a father for the second time in January when his partner Paige Hansel gave birth to his son, Thiago.

Sterling who takes a fat cheque of £180,000 weekly from Manchester City, moved to the five bedroom Cheshire mansion in December. The property is surrounded by farmland.

Inter Milan Set To Make £35m Bid For Sadio Mane

Sadio Mane

Jurgen Klopp is already battling to hold on to Brazilian playmaker Philippe Coutinho, with Barcelona not giving up the chase despite having a £72m bid rejected.

The Liverpool boss has insisted Coutinho is not for sale as he continues to put together a side he believes is capable of challenging for the Premier League title this season.

But Express Sport understands Klopp could soon have a battle on his hands to keep another of his key players - Sadio Mane - at the club.

Inter Milan, who have had Mane in their sights for some time, are now ready to make a move for the Senegal international.

Mane made a comeback from injury during the Reds' 3-0 friendly win against Hertha Berlin at the weekend and Inter are now understood to be preparing a £35m bid.

The winger cost Liverpool £34m when they signed him from Southampton last summer and he is a key part of Klopp's plans this term.

The 25-year-old, who missed the end of last season with a ligament injury, scored 13 goals last year.

And he has caught the attention of Inter who are keen to bolster their ranks to compete with local rivals AC Milan who have spent big this summer.

Inter have brought in four players so far, with the £20m arrival of defender Milan Skriniar from Sampdoria their biggest outlay.

Striker Facundo Colidio has also been added to their ranks along with experienced midfielder Borja Valero.

And goalkeeper Daniele Padelli also joined on a free transfer.

Speaking about Inter's pre-season, Spalletti admitted he was pleased with how things have progressed and raised doubts about AC Milan's big-spending tactics.

"I said in the beginning that the team had qualities that had to be shown," he said.

"That's what we have been working on in the last couple of days.

"It's clear that the team has under-performed in the past few months and it's clear there is more quality than was shown last year.

"That's what we have been working towards."

"Milan have certainly spent a lot but I think teams like Juventus, Roma and Napoli have a better chance as they haven't had many changes to their squad."

Liverpool Reject €100M Bid For Coutinho

Horrifying video shows women banging each other's heads into the ground in brutal fight

A very vicious fight broke out on Friday night on Coney Island in New York and it was caught on camera. The fight was so violent that police officers tried unsuccessfully to break it up without success until they eventually had to resort to dispersing the crowd with a pepper spray

The horrifying footage shows a group of women fighting each other at about 11 p.m near Luna Park. Two police officers can be seen in the video trying to put an end to the violence but they were unable to stop them. A man can also be seen in the video standing over two women who were fighting while driving away anyone who tries to interfere.

One woman in a white tank top can be seen straddling another, punching her repeatedly and slamming her face into the ground.

"I will go to jail," she repeated over and over again as she punched her powerless opponent.

The women continued fighting, not minding the police officers present, until one of the officers used a pepper spray to disperse them. A female officer suffered a knee injury and can be seen falling to the ground in the video.

Eight people were arrested following the encounter. Six women were arrested that night, police said. Delicia Walker, Victoria Alexender, Tyra Budoo, Nyasra Budoo, Aijae Smith and Jaaleessa Burks, all from Brooklyn and aged between 17 and 25, were charged with assaulting a police officer. Two men - Marquise Rowell, 22, and Steven Bowens, 20 - were also arrested and charged with assaulting a police officer. Bowens was also charged with criminal possession of a knife, though police said it was not used during the fight.
