Caitlyn Jenner's TV Show "I Am Cait" BOMBS In Ratings And Reviews

Well it seems nobody cares about Caitlyn Jenner or her story anymore.

The reality star's new show titled "I Am Cait" premiered 3 days ago, and now the official numbers and reviews are out.

The show which was expected to be the biggest hit on TV this year actually failed to deliver in terms of views or positive feedback.

Preliminary figures show the first episode to the docu-series picked up 2.73 million when it premiered in the US on Sunday evening. Although the number is slightly higher than what "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" gets every week, it's a far cry from what was expected of the show.

Caitlyn's interview with Diane Sawyer pulled in 17 million views and her acceptance speech on the ESPY awards pulled in 8 million views. Caitlyn's new show doesn't even reach up to half of those numbers.

Critically as well, the show is getting some terrible reviews with a current 4.8/10 on IMDB.

The New York Times wrote: "There’s no reason to doubt Ms. Jenner’s sincerity when she cites statistics about suicide among transgender teenagers or consoles a grieving parent, but you also can’t help noticing how she seems to be reading from a script."

Also, Slate’s television critic slated it for being boring writing: "I Am Cait is a respectable TV show with noble motives that easily evades my worst anxieties for it. And in doing so, it slams into what I never, ever could have imagined for it: dullness."
