Factor judge Rita Ora once revealed that she loved having an older boyfriend at the age of 14, when he was 26.
In an interview that was unearthed during research for an unauthorised book about Rita's life, the star revealed she became “obsessed” with wanting a man to want her.
Of the relationship, the now 24-year-old said: “It’s child abuse, really, isn’t it?”
Rita revealed that she loved the attention she was getting from the opposite sex, which was an eye opener to her as her first sexual encounter.
Speaking about the sick relationship for the first time, she said: “I was almost obsessed with having a man feel like he wants me.”
The star claimed that it made her “feel great” but admitted that it was “crazy” to look back at it now she’s an adult.
Extracts from the unauthorised book, which was published in The Sun, follows Rita’s path to stardom from a Kosovon refugee to one of the world’s biggest pop stars, alongside the ups and downs of her love life.
“I was fourteen when I started, when I got my first relationship with a guy,” Rita said back in 2013 when being interview on Lifetime TV about women's issues.
“I would say (he was) about 26, and you have to remember I hadn’t had a relationship before then at all.”
She continued: “I was very new to the whole world of a man and a female.”
The Hot Right Now star, who has gone on to date Rob Kardashian and Calvin Harris, still denies that she felt abused at the time.
“I don’t want to say that I suffered it, because I wanted it. I don’t want to say that I was forced to do it,” she said.
“I don’t want people to think that I was forced to do it. I don’t want people to think I was abused as a kid but I was definitely more mature than I should have been at 14.”
Rita, who as a teen attended the Sylvia Young Theatre School before finding fame, spoke to Lifetime TV about how much she craved attention from men and how it empowered her.
“I can’t begin to tell you how confident I felt when a man was interested in me,” she said.
“I felt like I was sexy, I felt like I had a form of respect, I felt like he listened to me.
“Now I know he listened to me because he obviously wanted to have sex with me. I felt good that men fancied me.”
