Celebrities like Rihanna and Kim Kardashian have now lent their voice to the campaign to have her freed.
Brown, from Nashville,was kidnapped and forced into child sex slavery by a pedophile ring. She was forced to shoot one of her clients before escaping from the human trafficking network, but she was arrested by police for the murder of the 43-year-old pedophile and tried in court as an adult.
She was found guilty and sentenced to life in prison.
Rihanna's post on the matter read in part: "To each of you responsible for this child's sentence I hope to God you don't have children."
Kim K on her part disclosed that she has called her attorneys to see what can be done to help free Cyntoia.
Since being in prison, Cyntoia has graduated from Lipscomb University with an Associates Degree. She's now working on her Bachelors while working side by side with the courts and the Juvenile Justice system as an unpaid consultant.
