Former Barcelona captain Xavi has called into question the philosophy of former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho.
Xavi got an up-close look at the way the Portuguese worked while in charge of arch-rival Real Madrid, and says that winning at all costs isn't the way he sees the game.
"He always wanted to win at any price and that shows in the way he goes about things," Xavi told Portuguese outlet Record.
"I respect that philosophy, but winning at any cost means you can't stay true to a playing style. For me, the ends don't always justify the means.
"I have a lot of respect for him, he has achieved great things, but I see football in a different way to Mourinho."
