Liverpool are waiting in the wings to move for Virgil van Dijk if Southampton are willing to listen to offers for the want-away defender, the Liverpool Echo reports.
The Reds were initially keen on landing Van Dijk but publicly ended their interest after reports Southampton were threatening action over an alleged illegal approach.
