In September, reports suggested Manchester City's David Silva could be tempted by a move to AC Milan despite City being keen to extend his contract.
The 31-year-old, whose current deal expires in 2019, remains a key part of Pep Guardiola's plans, with officials at the Etihad Stadium keen to tie him to a 12-month extension.
But the Sun says they may have their work cut out, with Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp "a big admirer" of Silva and Inter looking to add to their creative options.
Silva, who moved to City from Valencia in 2010, has also been linked with Fenerbahce in recent weeks.
