Yaya Toure Sent Home From Manchester City's Australia Tour [PHOTOS]

Yaya Toure was sent home from Manchester City's tour of Australia hours after a clash with Real Madrid's Keylor Navas, with Fabian Delph also heading back to the north west due to hamstring injury.

Toure was on the wrong end of a collision with the Real goalkeeper, who had raced of his line to punch clear during the friendly in Melbourne.

City have decided to send the midfielders back to England - meaning they will miss their side's trip to Vietnam, while Delph faces a race to be fit for the start of the new season after he was carried off on his debut.

Pellegrini said: 'Fabian is a very important player on the left side. This injury is not the best news, as he was just starting the season with our team.

‘Tomorrow we will get a diagnosis from the doctor but it is difficult to know as the doctor needs at least 48 hours.’ Aguero, Pablo Zabaleta, Martin Demichelis and Fernandinho could also miss the start of the season because they do not return to training until early next week following their involvement in the Copa America.
