Liverpool have released the squad numbers for their new signings with Brazilian Roberto Firmino taking the number 11, while Former Southampton player Nathaniel Clyne takes no. 2.
The Reds have certainly been busy this summer, bringing in new faces and Brendan Rodgers played most of his six new signings in their opening pre-season game yesterday.
Liverpool won 4-0 against a Thai All-Stars side as Divock Origi got on the scoresheet in his first appearance for the club.
French defender Mamadou Sakho, Adam Lallana and Lazar Markovic also scored but the big news today is the official reveal of the club’s new squad numbers for the coming season.
Meanwhile,Free signing from Manchester City, James Milner, has taken on the club’s iconic number seven shirt, while Danny Ings will wear 28 following his move from Burnley.
Joe Gomez, a signing from Charlton Athletic, will wear the number 12 on the back of his shirt.
