The 33-year-old sealed a £3million transfer deal to the Hawthorns after an unsuccessful spell in Liverpool.
Rickie Lambert scored just three goals in 36 games for the Reds last season, had also been linked with Leicester and Tottenham, but Tony Pulis' side have won the race to sign him.
Following the announcement by West Brom, it was revealed that Lambert has been included in the Baggies squad to face Bristol Rovers in a pre-season friendly on Friday night, which could see him line up against a former club on his debut.
